more about lightside
Hello all,

The months of April and May for Lightside are entwined with Renwick Gallery.

Check out their current exhibition "Jason Martin wants to be a punk rocker" ... not only because it's a cool show but because we imaged and mounted the digital c-prints for Jason Kraus as well.

Also, take a minute to visit the Women in Photography website to see the current featured artist Talia Chetrit (who is also represented by Renwick) and while you're there I'd like to inform everyone that we're extending the deadline for submissions on the Women in Photography / Lightside Individual Project Grant an additional two weeks until May 15th.

Lastly, keep an eye on Renwick again in late May for the Meridith Danluck exhibition "Drinkability" ... because yes, we've imaged that show, too.

Ok, enjoy and remember if these e-mails are grating on your nerves you may easily unsubscribe below at anytime.

Sincerely,

Jeffrey Kane

Opening for "Jason Martin wants to be a punk rocker", Renwick GAllery 4.10.09

The exhibition "Jason Martin wants to be a punk rocker" at Renwick Gallery is the first collaborative effort between the Los Angeles based artists, Jason Kraus and Martin Kersels. The exhibition includes kinetic sculpture, video, drawing and of course, photography. Kraus and Renwick contacted Lightside / LTI directly for assistance in producing over 10 digital c-prints from digital capture files which depict the aftermath of a destructive punk rock performance. The artists have paired the digital-c prints in a series of diptychs with drawings. You can see more images from the show here.
